CarbonSweep, LLC was formed as a Delaware limited liability company on January 25, 2021 to act as the project development arm for our system supply, EPC and O&M partners. CarbonSweep takes the lead in assembling projects by sourcing the MSW feedstock, identifying and securing a project site, securing offtake agreements for the renewable diesel, biochar, and other products, procuring all governmental approvals for the construction and operation of the biorefinery, and securing project equity and debt financing and guarantees. We then work hand-in-hand with our development partners to meet the funders’ requirements for a financial close and to build and commission the new biorefinery.
